How a coating goes on
Six steps, one clean finish
A coating seals in whatever is under it, so most of the work happens before the first layer.
- 1WashA full hand wash, wheels and door jambs included.
- 2DecontaminateIron remover and clay pull out what a wash leaves in the paint.
- 3Paint correctionA machine polish takes out swirls, so the coat seals in a clean finish.
- 4CoatCeramic Pro goes on panel by panel, one layer at a time.
- 5CureIt sets in the shop before you drive away. Full cure takes 2 to 3 weeks.
- 6InspectEvery panel checked under light, then your warranty is registered with Ceramic Pro.
Aftercare

Do
- Wash every two weeks: two-bucket hand wash or touchless.
- Use a pH-neutral soap with no wax in it.
- Wash in the shade and dry with microfiber.
- Wash more often in winter. Road salt shortens a coating’s life.
- Water spots: half white vinegar, half distilled water, 30 seconds, wipe.
Don't
- No brush car washes, at a tunnel or a self-serve bay. They void the warranty.
- No wax or sealant on top of the coating.
- No washing in direct sun or on a hot panel.
- No wiping a dry, dirty surface.
- Before full cure: no sprinklers, and no parking under trees.
The annual service
$199 a year
Once a year, within 30 days of the anniversary, we wash, decontaminate, check and top up the coating. Miss it and the warranty drops to the shorter term.
